Many stars walked through our Arches at Super Saturday 13! Edie Falco, Christie Brinkley and Christy Turlington were there. Kelly Ripa, Rudy Guiliani and Judith Nathan and of course Donna Karan all made appearances. There was Ashley Greene, Kris Jenner, Rachel Zoe, Khloe Kardashian, and Kim Kardashian (in fact the whole Kardashian Gang). Nicole Miller and Gayle King were there too! InStyle, Betsy Johnson and Fern Mallis also took part.
Why you ask? Everyone who walked through PiNK Powered by Moss Arches were at Super Saturday and there to shop to benefit the Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation OCRF. This star-studded event attracts the celebrities and elite of the Hampton’s who all come to shop at a gigantic designer garage sale! All funds are donated directly to the OCRF! And for those who could not shop with us live, you could watch and buy on TV with QVC.
Our Fabric Sculptures were not only the entry to the Super Saturday grounds at Nova’s Ark Project in Water Mill, we also provided interesting overhead tension fabric structures at the main bar and our tensioned fabric sculpture, Fruit Salad provided shade in the picnic lunch area.
We all thank Donna Karan and all of the fabulous sponsors and designers that donated merchandise and energy to the event. There were many – DKNY, InStyle, Lacoste, Reebok, Calvin Klein to name a few! A special thanks to producer Mark Addison • EVENTSTYLE and his team for seamlessly running this large-scale event making it smooth sailing (for the last 9 years!)
And I just heard the Newsflash: Super Saturday 13 – 2010 raised over $3.4million for OCRF charity!!!! Now that IS really great NEWS!
